Learn how to set a mood and tell a story (or the suggestion of one) through the medium of collage with artist James Hosking.
In the workshop, James will share pieces from his series "The Personals,” which is inspired by found LGBTQ+ personal ads and their authors, as well as editorial commissions.
He will also share the work of other artists whose collages are rich in storytelling.
Participants are encouraged to bring either archival or contemporary material that they would like to use to build a collage scene.
