In this creative writing workshop, we'll explore the power of hand-written letters to slow down and drop deeper into our connections with self and others.
We'll use guided prompts and writing exercises to encourage heartfelt communication, whether to someone real, imagined, or even to your future self.
You will leave with at least a draft of a meaningful, hand-written letter and the inspiration (and materials, including envelopes, stationary, and USPS stamps) to send your personal letter in the mail.
We'll look at real-life examples of the epistolary form as a literary art and we'll also talk about the history & culture of mail art.
